About the Scholarship
The Liddell Scholarship commenced in 2008 to recognise and support outstanding all-round students at Mount Albert. Every recipient has shown excellence in multiple aspects of school life. The winners are determined by the Headmaster and senior staff at the school. Initially, the scholarship was awarded to two leading students and expanded in 2022 to four students (two exceptional boys and two exceptional girls). Each student receives financial support towards their university studies. Currently, the awards are for $15,000 each. In addition, four $10,000 study awards are made each year to teachers who have made significant contributions to the school. These awards allow the recipients to pursue additional career-enhancing study abroad. The Liddell Scholarships are highly valued by the MAGS community - both as a recognition and driver of excellence across the school.
