Mount Albert Grammar School Activities & Accomplishments

At MAGS, I represented the school as the robotics captain and as an orchestra player. I took on volunteer and leadership roles like being a library helper and a prefect. In my final year, I was awarded an NZQA Outstanding Scholar award, with 6 individual subject scholarships. I was the country's top Technology scholar, with my project designing a remote monitoring solution for predator traps. I was also the school Dux and Liddell Scholarship winner.

Current Position & Interests

I am currently in my final year of study for my Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Canterbury. Over the past two summers I have completed internships to develop my skills, and intend to take up a graduate position next year. My interests currently center on mechanical design, control systems, and numerical modelling.

I am also the President of the university's Snowsports Club. As well as a social network, this role has provided me with invaluable leadership experience.
